UPDATE 8/27: Check out the messageboard for the PSU football special in the restaurant coming this Saturday for the kickoff against Coastal Carolina!

Sinking Valley County Club is located five miles off Interstate 99 just North of Altoona, PA. It was founded in 1963 and features 18 Championship holes measuring 6755 yards from the back tees with a slope rating of 129. The white tees measure 6400 yards and have slope rating of 128.

Sinking Valley C.C. is nestled among stands of mature hardwood trees in a peaceful mountain setting boasting breathtaking views. Here a round of golf can sometimes be confused with a stroll through a nature preserve. Although, the lightning fast bent grass greens and plush bent grass fairways always make golf at Sinking Valley a serious business. In additon to the course, Sinking Valley offers a fully stocked pro shop, a driving range, a putting green, golf lessons, and the Bogey Bar 'n Grill.

Sinking Valley C.C. has also hosted a number of qualifiers. In 2007, S.V.C.C. hosted both the U.S. Amateur Open and the West Penn Open qualifiers. In 2008, S.V.C.C. hosted the West Penn Senior Qualifier, and the Northeast Junior Tour.
